The Climate Story Lab Lagos Report

As the first of its kind in West Africa, this pioneering Climate Story Lab Lagos (CSL Lagos) hosted by SurgeX Media and Doc Society - Climate Story Lab Unit forged new paths for climate storytelling and impact media in the West African coastal city of Lagos. Over two transformative days, creatives, journalists, communicators, campaigners, and climate activists gathered to explore the power of storytelling in addressing climate environmental justice, the importance of local data in impact campaigns, the role of technology in providing innovative ways to tell stories, cross-pollinate ideas and dissect key issues around storytelling for social action. 

From showcasing social change works to highlighting the critical role of media and creativity in driving climate action, the Climate Story Lab Lagos has become a catalyst for innovative storytelling, building and facilitating a creative industry network.
